Career Development Center (CDC)

CDC is introduced in the year 2012 as separate department of AIFT. CDC will provide the different facilities like;

AIFT has set high standards in the industry as far as placements are concerned. With 98% placement record in 2014 and 96% in 2015, AIFTies have become the hot favorites among big brands and organizations.

AIFT aims to take education a level notch higher for students and make them industry ready to prove their mettle in the corporate sector. Several eminent speakers from the industry visit the academy to hold interactive workshops and share their wealth of experience with the students.

In our effort to enhance employability of our students, AIFT organized a series of workshops. “Parichay 3: Cracking the Interview – Verbal and non-verbal communication. Parichay is a unique training module for the students. This training is imparted before a student appears for placement interview. It includes trainings on soft skills, body language, market knowledge, and resume building and interview skills.

The resume building workshop has been a great success with multiple sessions conducted across campuses on Portal Introduction, Resume building and Interview Skills. These sessions are aimed to equip students to build better holistic sensibilities while appearing for an interview. Post the workshop, students felt more confident about their resumes and were aware of the various questions that can be asked during an interview and more importantly were equipped to answer those questions.

AIFT offers Academic exchange opportunities to ours students and other International students as well. Recently all students from AIFT went for factory visit to well renewed factory. The visit was conducted to help these students understand the various processes involved in premium ready-to-wear women’s wear brand manufacturers factory. The entire process was closely observed by the students with many new learning infused in the 1 day trip. AIFT encourage its students to go beyond classroom learning to widen their viewpoint, facilitating an exchange of concepts.

At AIFT we understand how important international experience is in today’s job market. We feel that the best way people can develop professionally and learn is by getting out of their comfort zone and face the challenge of working in a new city or culture. There will be a selection process on the basis of which the students will be shortlisted. Students, as per their interest, can apply through an online application and the faculty reviews these applications & sets up interview with the eligible students.

Career guidance is required when students really have no idea what they want to do with their career. DCS helps students by taking personality test, talking about job interests and helping them to find out their personal strengths and weakness. Sometimes DCS recommends some useful courses that may help students groom for career development.

CDC will extend the capacity at every level. This service will be given voluntarily from AIFT. 
CDC will assist our student for Job Placement purpose like to conduct the class on CV development &techniques and to face an interview & norms of interview techniques.
